Description:
Currently a company in HubSpot requires a populated and resolvable website URL field in order to sync to Salesbuildr. During onboarding, we found a meaningful portion of their customer base has no website, including financial holdings, sole traders, and wholesale reseller accounts. These are legitimate, active customers, not data quality issues.
Customer context:
To flag multiple real examples: holding companies, family businesses, and reseller accounts that simply do not have a public web presence. This is unlikely to be unique to this customer, particularly among MSPs whose client base skews toward SMB.
Current workaround:
None. These companies are permanently excluded from sync today.
Request:
Allow companies without a website URL to sync, provided all other required fields are present. If the website field is still needed for deduplication logic, consider whether an alternative unique identifier (e.g. company name + owner, or a HubSpot company ID) could serve the same purpose in its absence.
